If this is your first Hawaiʻi Life Style course at HawaiʻiCC, you will need to purchase muslin and sew your kīhei:

1. Purchase 2-3 yards of unbleached muslin (approx 45” wide) & sewing thread at a local fabric store. If there are no fabric stores nearby, you can purchase online at Walmart for pickup or delivery.
   
2.  Hem unfinished sides of muslin. Rolled hem sample.
   
3. Before printing, wash, hot water; dry.
